Please consider bringing back topics. I regularly visited them to seek out pieces I might not have otherwise read. Even though I've just followed a lot more people/publications who focus on different topics, since the change, the algorithm feels like a new flaw has emerged - my home feed is totally homogeneous. It's full of nothing but LGBTQ topics (which is FINE - this *is* my niche after all), but these are all stories I would've found & read anyway. These are people I already follow and keep up with; I don't need to see them on my homepage. What I need to see on my homepage is great writing curated/distributed by Medium across a vast variety of subjects/topics. So, essentially, what's missing is all the great stories out there that, now, I'll never know about. I really miss the diversity of my original Medium homepage (I've been reading & writing here since 2016/17), and I always loved the ease of finding new work & writers through topics.
