Oh my goodness, can I please hire you to come live in my home and cheer me up from time to time? Like, when one of my three teens complains that I’m embarrassing them again, or maybe when I’m having a bad pain day, or just feel like a really crappy mom and/or wife?

Again, no apologies needed for anything! I’m just glad to find like-minded people whenever I can, wherever I can! Honestly, that’s why I write the things I do about trump. Not to change anyone’s mind — I know that will never happen — but to let others out there who feel like I do know they’re not alone.

It’s difficult (and often isolating) living in a gaslighted nation. I’ve been in an abusive relationship, and I’ve worked for 2 different toxic bosses. In each of those 3 cases I was gaslighted (on top of other things). So perhaps that’s why I recoil in reaction to trump. Once gaslighting has happened to you, and especially after you eventually find out what it is (and that you weren’t going crazy after all), you recognize it immediately the next time someone tries to do it.

Well, that was a tangent I didn’t intend to take. Anyway, thanks so much for your very kind words. How did you know I needed that today?!

Very happy to have you as a follower. Happy to follow you back, too. I hope to be writing more over the next couple of months since I’m officially on “summer break” from my education job.
