I felt this line. Literally. It made me ache deep down. When my kids were young, I lived in irrational paranoia that something like a car accident or heart attack would take my husband, leaving me a single mom to fend for 3 kids alone. Not that there’s anything wrong with that; it just wasn’t for me. I’m not that strong. Parenting is hard enough when there are two parents present all the time. You have my utmost respect.
