Couple corrections here, as the author you’re referring to: I believe that systemic racism exists in America, not systemic privilege (don’t know that that’s even a thing), and that social privilege exists (like white privilege, or cis/het privilege, for ex.) which is vastly different from just privilege. I’ve never stated that systemic racism or social privilege are “inoperable conditions” for which there is no cure, so I’m not sure where that came from. I very much believe that change can and does happen when people are willing to put their pride aside and learn something outside of their comfort zone. And of course I used Dunning-Kruger unironically; I have a degree in Psychology.
