Random personal:
GenX, circa 1974. 80s latchkey kid. Southern born & bred, but liberal AF. Friendly feminist (ain't nobody got time for TERFs or toxic masculinity). Avid researcher. TikTok aficionado. Politics junkie. Ex-vangelical. Descendent of prolific English writer & social critic, Charles Dickens. "Diplomatic." (Or so I'm told.) Scotch-Irish & British family roots. That said, Irish Diplomacy is known as "the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip." Sometimes I like animals better than people - especially my 70 lb. Amstaff/Boxer mix lap dog. Likely to be found working alone, trying to keep unlearning whitewashed American history, or upending cultural and gender norms. Spent 30+ years performing in musical theatre, and almost as long in education before deciding to write and create full time. Married for 23 years. Mom of three, *one of each gender.
